Saturday 17 March 11.30pm, London Short Film Festival and friends present LISZTOMANIA Gate Picturehouse, Notting Hill

+ with live performance from Savages

Join the London Short Film Festival and their friends as they unite to delve into Ken's uniquely crazed brain for a once-in-a-lifetime late night screening of the frenetic pop masterpiece that is LISZTOMANIA (UK 1975).  Roger Daltry stars as the flamboyant Franz Liszt caught in a musical battle between good and evil, contending with a vampiric Wagner, a cryogenically created Thor and a Pope played by Ringo Starr. Expect the unexpected, as the madness of Russell's 'biopic' of Liszt spills into the Gate's baroque screen with a live pre-screening performance from Savages and interaction recommended.

The London Short Film Festival is an annual event that presents the best in UK short film-making talent. For a couple of weeks in January we take over London’s best independent cinemas and venues to showcase some amazing short films.
